Apple released iOS 9 about a week ago, but it was buggy. Unlike with the release of iOS 8, the company did a pretty good job of releasing very timely updates. iOS 9.0.1 was released in just a few days, and 9.0.2 was quick to follow. Apple has been knocking out the bugs and performance issues, but bugs still remain.
I have noticed a bug in unlocking the phone. Once I unlock, I have to wait before I can swipe my screen. It is as if the screen only recognizes presses, but not swipes.
I have also noticed issues in typing. I don't know if this is a verified bug, but it feels like my screen is not calibrated as well when the keyboard is up. I make many more errors while typing with iOS 9.
Apple is moving at a pretty quick pace, and they are having a hard time keeping up. Perhaps they should resist the urge to release a brand new version of iOS every single year. They keep emphasizing new features, but I'd rather have better performance. iOS 9 is slightly slower than iOS 8. Battery time is reportedly better, but in my case it feels about the same.
