Here we go again. Another iOS update causes reports of battery drain. Why is it that every time we get an iOS update we get widespread reports of battery drain? After the most recent update to iOS 6.1.3, several people have posted complaints about battery life in Apple's Support Forums. Users are also complaining about WiFI and Bluetooth connectivity as well.
When Apple released iOS 5 a lot of people complained of battery drain. Since then, it seems like every update has resulted in the same reports. Are these reports real? It's hard to tell. There are so many variables when updating your phone's OS. Not everyone runs the same apps so there could be specific issues between the OS and a single app. Some people might also overlook other issues like cell signal weakness that may cause a battery to drain, but blame it on the update.
Have you had any issues with iOS 6.1.3? I haven't.
