A recent report seems to prove the iPhone 5S and 5C displays are not the most accurate displays on the market. OptoFidelity built a special machine to test the display and the results are very interesting. The robot featured a precision-calibrated arm and finger, and it was set to continuously touch smartphone displays at specific coordinates. The results show the iPhone 5S and 5C have some serious challenges compared to the Galaxy S3, especially at the edges of the display.
The S3 was consistent throughout, but the iPhones were spotty. Check out the source link below for the full test results.
Many users may have already found out that it is not very easy to press letters Q and P on the virtual keyboard of an iPhone 5S or iPhone 5C. This is because the touch accuracy on the sides is not as good as in the center of the screen. When we look the results closely, you can see how the test results correlate with the end user performance.
