Sprint has been at a disadvantage because they haven't had the best phones. They pinned their hopes on the supposed "iPhone killer" a few years ago with the Palm Pre, but we all know what happened there. The Pre didn't kill anything but Sprint's user base.
Becoming the country’s only operator to offer the device with unlimited data service for a flat fee may help Sprint draw customers from AT&T and Verizon Wireless, which already carry the phone, they said.
