According to Reuters, Apple CEO Steve Jobs has just resigned as CEO and been named Chairman. Apple has named Tim Cook as his permanent replacement. What does this mean for Apple going forward? We can only assume that Steve's health is not improving and he saw the writing on the wall. This move will allow Tim Cook to take over permanent day to day operations and prepare for a day when Steve is no longer there. That day will be a very sad day for tech.
