Google releases Gmail app for iOS, then pulls it due to bugs

News - By: SPBlast! Staff - November 02, 2011

Google released an iOS Gmail app only to pull it hours later due to multiple bugs. The app looked pretty good at first glance, but then several errors and bugs started showing up. It's disappointing that Google would release a half baked version of Gmail for iOS, but it may not be their fault entirely. Some are speculating that Apple released a version of the app that was built before iOS 5 was released. Whatever happened, I hope Google gets on the stick and gets the app back in the App store ASAP!
