Apple launches iTunes Match in the US

News - By: SPBlast! Staff - November 14, 2011

Apple has finally released the iTunes Match service in the US. To use the service you'll need to download iTunes 10.5.1 which was also released today. iTunes Match allows you to keep your entire music library in the cloud, and access it from your Mac, PC, or iOS device.

Some users are receiving errors when trying to join iTunes Match. Be patient. The demand is high and Apple is having trouble letting everyone in. It will probably take several days for the things to smooth out.

Introducing iTunes Match. Store your entire music library in iCloud, including music you’ve imported from CDs, and enjoy your collection anywhere, anytime, on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, computer, or Apple TV.
