Two weeks after being shot in the head at a public event, Representative Gabrielle Giffords is using an iPad in the hospital. Her husband is showing her family photos on the iPad while she recuperates. USATODAY also reported on Giffords progress as she stood up for the first time with some help.

"Propped up by medical staffers, Rep. Gabrielle Giffords stood for the first time Wednesday, sat in a chair and spent some time flipping through personal photos on an iPad with her husband Mark Kelly, her doctor said."
