Bloomberg says Verizon iPhone coming in January

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - June 29, 2010

Take this one with a huge grain of salt because we've heard these kinds of rumors before, but once again someone is predicting a Verizon iPhone. This time Bloomberg is reporting that Verizon will launch the iPhone in January. Both Apple and Verizon have declined to comment, of course, but Bloomberg says they have two sources that confirm the Verizon iPhone.

“The fact is, Apple is going to dramatically increase the number of devices it sells in the U.S. when exclusivity at AT&T ends,” said Hodulik, who is based in New York and rates Verizon shares “neutral.” “It’s hard to ignore the quality issues that AT&T has faced.”

Could January be the magic month for Verizon and Apple? Stay tuned...
