iPhone Battery Replacement Kit

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - July 31, 2007

The one thing that we don't like about the iPhone is the absence of a changeable battery. Apple charges around $80 to replace your battery if it needs replacing outside the warranty period. This is a real hassle as you have to send your iPhone to Apple to have them change the battery.

Now comes a company that is offering an iPhone Battery Replacement Kit. For $20 you get a battery with some tools to get the job done. This looks dicey at best, but it is interesting. We say, just wait until the next version of the iPhone hits the streets.
