Users of the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus have been complaining about battery life for some time now. Apple has discovered a bug that is frustrating some users. Apparently, if you change your clock manually, or change time zones while traveling, the battery meter percentage on the phone does not update. Therefore, you run out of battery much quicker than you expect.
Until Apple resolves the issue, you can fix the issue with a simple restart.
1. Restart your iPhone.
2. Go to Settings > General > Date & Time and make sure that Set Automatically is turned on. Learn more about the date and time on your device.
Apple is “aware of this issue and is investigating the cause and a solution." There is no word on when a fix might be released.
