In an effort to take on apps like Evernote, Apple has revamped its Notes app in iOS 9. Released yesterday, iOS 9 features Apple's new Notes app with many new features that users will surely love. One problem exists however. Users who have upgraded to iOS 9 will not be able to sync Notes to their Mac until the next version of OS X El Capitan is released on September 30.
If you are using iCloud to sync your Notes, you can use the icloud.com website to view your Notes on your desktop until El Capitan is released. If you are using Google to sync your Notes, you may want to hold off on upgrading to iOS 9 until September 30 when OS X El Capitan is released.
Apple probably should have released these two OS versions at the same time to avoid the confusion, but El Capitan is just two weeks away.
