Apple has announced a recall of all Beats Pill XL speakers because they could potentially cause a fire. Apple said in a statement, "in rare cases, the battery in the Beats Pill XL Speaker may overheat and pose a fire safety risk. This product has been sold worldwide since January 2014 by Beats, Apple, and other retailers."
Apple is not offering a replacement, but a refund. You can either get an electronic payment of $325 or a store credit.
