If Bloomberg is to be believed, Apple suppliers are already making iPhones with Force Touch. Force Touch allows the phone to know how hard you are pressing on the screen. Originally debut in the new MacBook for 2015, Force Touch will allow all sorts of new gestures for the iPhone.
The next iPhone is expected to look pretty much like the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus looks now. It will likely be a typical "s" release in Apple's cycle where the body remains the same. Force Touch will allow developers to vastly expand the kinds of things you can do on the smartphone. I will not be surprised to see Apple also design iPads with Force Touch.
We can also expect upgraded cameras in the next iPhone and who knows what else.
