Apple has FINALLY admitted a problem with some 2011 MacBook Pro's video cards. After many years of user complaints, Apple decided to refund owners of 2011 MacBook Pros who paid for service relating to video issues. The company sent out emails today informing customers of a pending refund. I received my email a few minutes ago.
If you have a 2011 MBP, check your inbox because you may be due for a refund. In my case I paid $310 for service. Not a bad refund.
