Apple sent out invitations today for a media event entitled, "Spring Forward." The event will take place on March 9 at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater in San Francisco at 10am PT. Apple has not mentioned what the event will cover, but most people are assuming the Apple Watch will be involved. We still have yet to learn a lot of details about the Apple Watch so this event will likely be used to fill us in.
Other possible announcements could be a new 12" Macbook Air, or a 13" iPad. Apple could just as easily pass on these announcements and keep the event focused on the Apple Watch. You can bet Apple will start the event with an update that includes some bragging about the biggest revenue for the last quarter in the company's history. In fact, they made more than any company has ever made in a quarter.
Apple will live stream the event as usual.
