Typo, the Ryan Seacrest-backed company once sued by BlackBerry, is shipping a new keyboard case for the iPhone 6. Unlike previous versions of Typo cases, this one does not look exactly like a BlackBerry keyboard, and is designed to get around the legal hassles the company once endured.
The new Typo2 for iPhone 6 works much like its predecessor, but it looks more like a Palm Centro keyboard than a BlackBerry keyboard. Some users will find it the perfect companion for their iPhone. Others, will likely hate it.
The one massive caveat is the Typo 2 for iPhone 6 blocks the TouchID capabilities of the Home button. That is a huge trade off, especially if you want to use Apple Pay.
