Microsoft has finally updated SkyDrive for iOS, a mere ten months after the last update. Word on the street is that Microsoft did not want to give 30% to Apple for in app purchases, and that's what accounted for the extended period without updating the app. Microsoft finally updated SkyDrive to version 3.0 which now supports the iPhone 5.
Microsoft also has also given SkyDrive users the ability to download full resolution photos to the iPhone or iPad.
Other new features include:
• Updated to support iPhone 5 and iPad Mini
• Download full resolution photos to your iPhone or iPad
• Improved support for opening SkyDrive files in other iOS apps
• Improved support for uploading files to SkyDrive from other iOS apps
• Updated app icons and visuals
• Other bug fixes
You can download the new SkyDrive in the App Store.
