Best Buy sends out survey about "Apple HDTV"

News - By: SPBlast! Staff - February 06, 2012

Best Buy has been sending a survey to customers to get feedback on upcoming products and services. Most retailers do this on a regular basis, but this one seems to layout some specifics about a product they call the Apple HDTV. The Verge got its hands on the survey and it's interesting to say the least. Best Buy seems to layout some interesting specifications of the new iTV.

  • 42-inch 1080 LED display
  • iOS
  • App Store
  • iCloud used to store and play all your music, TV shows, movies, photos, and videos
  • Uses iPhone and iPad as remote control
  • Built-in "iSight camera and microphone for "Skype"
  • Netflix, YouTube, Flickr support
  • $1,499

The Verge points out that Apple hasn't used the name "iSight" to describe their webcams in awhile, and they would probably be advertising FaceTime, not Skype. So how much of this list do you believe? Did someone just make up the proposed specs, or did they have some insight from Apple? What about Siri?
