President Obama mentions Steve Jobs in his State of the Union Address

Steve Jobs passed away last year, but his presence is still felt in the US and across the world. U.S President Barack Obama mentioned Steve in his State of the Union Address tonight while Laurene Powell Jobs sat and watched with the First Lady, Michelle Obama.

we should support everyone who is willing to work, and every risk-taker and entrepreneur who aspires to become the next Steve Jobs


In other news, Apple just announced a massive earnings quarter in which they blew away all expectations, and Steve Jobs is largely responsible for all of it. A lot of smart people work at Apple, but had Steve not rebuilt the company when it was nearly bankrupt, none of it would have happened.
