iTunes U gets its own app

Apple made several education-related announcements today, and one of them is that iTunes U now has its own iOS app. iTunes U is made up of recorded university classes that were offered for free to Apple customers. As of today, iTunes U has its own app with features like professor’s office hours, class syllabus, as well as access to class materials. Students can even use the app to take notes during class and can also access textbooks.

Universities included in iTunes U include Harvard, Yale, Oxford, Cornell, Berkeley, among others.
