Apple sends out invitations for Media event on January 19

Apple has sent out invitations for a special media event in New York City next week. The event will apparently focus on education. There is no word on exactly what Apple is planning, but rumors say it could have to do with textbooks, and easier iBooks publication. We'll see.

Apple says the event will be about an education announcement and will take place on January 19 at the Guggenheim Museum. The event begins at 10:00 am ET
