Apple has officially sent out invitations to the media for the iPhone event on October 4, 2011. The October date has been known for quite some time, but not it is official. The next iPhone will be unveiled and the launch is expected to be on October 14. The press conference will begin at 10:00 a.m. Pacific, 1:00 p.m. Eastern. Here we go...
