The Verizon iPhone isn't even here yet and it's already exceeding expectations. Starting February 10, more than half of Verizon smartphone users will switch to the iPhone, according to a recent poll by uSamp. In a survey of 700-plus Verizon smartphone users, 54 percent of Android and BlackBerry users say they're very or somewhat likely to switch to the Verizon iPhone.
The survey found that 66 percent of BlackBerry users said they're looking to switch, and 44 percent of Android said they're looking at the Verizon iPhone.
It's hard to believe that half of Verizon's smartphone users will switch, but even if it's slightly less than half, that's a lot of iPhones that Apple will be selling.
In the first two hours of pre-orders Verizon sold more iPhones than any other phone on its launch day.
