No iPhone 5 announced, iPhone 4S underwhelms

News - By: SPBlast! Staff - October 04, 2011

The Apple event is over without an iPhone 5 announcement. Instead of announcing a new iPhone 5, the company unveiled an iPhone 4S. Frankly, the Apple event was disappointing and proves that nobody does it quite like Steve Jobs. Tim Cook spent a lot of time discussing minor issues (OSX, iPods, etc.) instead of getting to the meat of what we were waiting for.

T new iPhone 4S has a dual-core processor, better battery life, better camera, and a new assistant service that promises to change the way we interact with computers. Apple says the new iPhone 4S is the most amazing iPhone ever, but everyone was really looking forward to a new iPhone 5.

The new iPhone 4S will come in 3 flavors, 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB. Finally, a 64GB iPhone. The camera is much better than the iPhone 4 camera, but is it worth upgrading? Not really.

The iPhone 4S is a nice phone, but not worth the upgrade from an iPhone 4. Sorry Apple, I guess we're used to being blown away and today we're just seriously underwhelmed.
