Sprint iPhone 4 customers experience slow performance

News - By: SPBlast! Staff - October 17, 2011

Sprint set sales records with the iPhone 4 and 4S, but some customers are now complaining of slow 3G speeds. A group has popped up at the Sprint Community Forums and users are complaining about slow performance by the iPhone in areas where other phones work well.

One user wrote:

Have you tired Siri? It will say “Sorry I am having trouble connecting to the network”. This speed is ridiculous, too slow to use the function provided by iPhone. I couldn’t even imaging how would navigation work at this speed when it has to load maps on demand.

I have had this same experience on Sprint. Because much of Siri's work is done on the server, slow performance can make using Siri extremely frustrating. I'm going to give Sprint another week or so, but if things don't improve I'm going back to AT&T.
