Creating another Top 5 iPhone apps list is a little silly at this point, but what the heck. I've decided to give my take on the iPhone apps I like most. I could have easily created a Top 15 apps list, but I'll try to stick to the apps that impress me most. Here we go.
Faces
If you want to be able to dial people by their contact picture there is no better program than Faces. I've tried several other apps, and even some Safari hacks but don't fall for it. Just get Faces. You won't be sorry. [iTunes Link]
USAA
This app requires that you have an account with USAA, but it's so worth it. You can get a free checking account if you've been in the military, or if your parents were in the military. USAA has one of the best customer service records of any bank and it's simply a pleasure doing business with them. You can check your account balances with their app, transfer funds and all the rest, but the best thing about the USAA app is a service called Deposit@Mobile. You can take a picture of a check using the iPhone's camera and deposit the money in your account. Once they verify the check the money is in your account immediately. You simply write void on the front of the check and you're done. Very cool! [iTunes Link]
Seesmic
We love the default iPhone Twitter app, but if you want to handle multiple Twitter and Facebook accounts, Seesmic is the app for you. It can be slow at times but I'm sure they'll get the kinks worked out soon enough. Check it out! [iTunes Link]
MotionX GPS Drive
If you're looking for a solid Navigation app MotionX GPS does the trick. It's only $.99 and it works well. They even have an iPad version if you want something larger. Forget all those expensive navigation apps and check out MotionX. [iTunes Link]
Angry Birds
Don't ask us why this game is so addicting an popular, but it is. Just load it up and you'll realize why it's on so many "must have" lists.
There is a free and paid version. If you want to check it out just download the free version but I'm pretty confident you'll cough up the $.99
for the paid version. [iTunes Link]
