The iPhone 4 is not even out yet and already the CDMA iPhone rumors are swirling again. Thanks to DigiTimes, the rumors of the iPhone coming to Verizon this year are heating up. DigiTimes says:
Pegatron [Technology] will also start shipping a CDMA version of the iPhone 4 to Apple in the fourth quarter and is currently using its plants in Shanghai, China to produce the products, the sources noted. The company is also working on gaining orders for MacBooks and iPads from Apple, added the sources.
There have been so many Verizon iPhone rumors that we count this as just a rumor. AT&T has had an exclusive with Apple for so long that until Apple announces a Verizon iPhone, we will not believe it. That said, AT&T's service receives so many complaints it makes a whole lot of sense for Apple to get their phone to other carriers.
