The world was waiting for iOS 4.2 to drop today. The updated iOS was supposed to add Airprint to iOS, and also bring the iPad in line with the iPhone's features. Most notably iOS 4.2 was supposed to add multitasking and folders to the iPad. It looks like today's release has been postponed. engadget is reporting that Apple delayed the update because of a WiFi bug that allowed the iPad to connect to a WiFi router, but once connected the user could not reach anything on the Internet.
There's no word on when Apple will fix the bug or release iOS but we're guessing a few weeks. This is disappointing news for all you iPad users but hang in there.
