Deposit checks via iPhone with USAA Bank

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - August 11, 2009

If you have a USAA checking account you already know the convenience of scanning checks to make deposits. No more running to the bank to deposit your checks. Instead, simply scan them and upload them to USAA and you're all set.

USAA is now taking the convenience of deposits one step further. They will allow iPhone users to take a picture of the check and upload it for deposit.

“We’re essentially taking an image of the check, and once you hit the send button, that image is going into our deposit-taking system as any other check would,” said Wayne Peacock, a USAA executive vice president.
