Apple and Verizon working on Internet Tablet?

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - July 23, 2009

If the rumor is to be believed, Apple and Verizon are working on an Internet tablet. TheStreet reports the tablet is in the works.

"The device, designed as a larger version of the iPod Touch, will have a 9-inch to 10-inch touchscreen and possibly a keyboard, as analysts, industry sources and news reports have outlined."

Would a device like this be a winner or a flop? Is there a market for such a product? Perhaps it's Apple's way of competing with Amazon's Kindle. We'll have to wait and see on this one.
