News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - February 11, 2009
|

Southwest Airlines is testing their own in-flight Wi-Fi service, based on a satellite connection from Row 44. They began the test this week using one of their planes, with more planes coming soon. While they're test the service they are offering the service for free.

Southwest is using a satellite-based system from Row 44, and not the cellular connection used by most other airlines.
