AppleInsider reports that Apple has confirmed the June release date of the iPhone. In an email sent to mobile customers who signed up to receive notifications about the iPhone, Apple wrote "You'll be the first to hear the latest about iPhone— coming this June. That gives you just enough time to think of ways to break the news to your current phone."

There you have it. The iPhone is coming in June as expected.
